The challenge this week is to use TEXT in a NONSENSE way - not to read, but as a pattern in your card. Use a page from an old dictionary or other book, stamp a background text stamp or use a text-patterned paper in your creation. Here is what I came up with for this week's challenge!!
This is the cutest darn bunny ever! LOVE him!
He is from the Alice in Wonderland set from The Greeting Farm.
I trimmed him out with oval nesties and mounted him on this
killer paper from Graphic 45's "Halloween in Wonderland" line.
The challenge was to use text in a different way.
I have had this old dictionary since I was a kid (eons ago!) and
was actually going to go against my hoarding nature and toss it out!
Yeah, I said it. T-o-s-s it out!
But, I quickly regained my senses and salvaged it.
I punched out flower shapes, aged them with distress ink and stacked them
to form the flower. I added a pearl brad, crumple, crumple, and voila!
Then I punched out the word text and it's definition as a bit of a leaf for the fleur.
I added this mushroom cluster to the inside of the card.
Cute.
